Worsel Strauss is a Frankfurt, Germany, based recording and performing artist. Having worked under various monikers in the past, these days most of his work is centered around modular synthesizers.

"A broken heart can be a serious condition, not only emotionally, but also physically. As first described by Sato et al in 1990, the stress-induced Tako Tsubo cardiomyopathy is represented by sudden weakening of the heart muscle in the absence of a regional blood perfusion defect. The left ventricle takes on a shape like a fishing pot. Tako Tsubo comes from the Japanese word for a kind of octopus trap.This weakening of the heart muscle, especially pronounced at the apex and the mid portion of the heart, can be triggered by emotional stress such as a break-up, the death of a loved one, or by severe anxiety. Despite the grave initial presentation in some of the patients, most of the patients survive the initial acute event."
